Social Media Floods Cache Valley
LOGAN, Utah—President Preston Parker and founder of Social Media Club of Cache Valley has gathered together with other simplistic individuals to create a place for people to get to know how to use social media resources appropriately such as Facebook, Twitter, and Blogger.
The club was founded in August of 2009 when a small group from Cache Valley was heading to Salt Lake city to attend a club meeting there, on the way it came into thought that instead of making a commute to Salt Lake once a month why don’t they start a club of their very own. The Cache Valley Social Media chapter is the second of 4 current chapters in the state of Utah with over 170 group members.
“The goal of the social media club is education”, states President Parker. “We want others to be informed about social media, not to fear it. We want people to understand its importance.”
